1973 Norton for sale We have a black 1973 Norton 750 Commando for sale. It is in very good condition. The Amal carbs have been replaced by Mikuni, and a gasket is worn out on the gearbox. It is a hard starter but that will change if you adjust the carb. It has 17,700 miles on it. We bought it in 2001 from a guy in Superior, Wisconsin and since the original test drives at that time, it has not been ridden, although it was started up a month ago and sounded wonderful. It has been stored out of the weather in a garage at our home near the state fair grounds in St. Paul. Neither my husband or myself can ride it anymore, and we would like it to go to a good home! 1971 750 cc Norton Production Racer. Also known as “Yellow Peril”, and NVPS racer. Blueprinted engine: PW3 camshart, Quaife 5 speed Gearbox, genuine works front brake. Built in 1998 by Norman White to same specs as 1972 TT winning production racer - also built by Norman White Norman was Norton Factory team Development engineer and test rider for “works” Norton Commando and John Player Norton commandos, working closely with Peter Williams, Dave Croxford and rest of the team.
Virginal condition: Built / restored with no expense spared. Street legal: 2000 road miles: never raced. This bike is very smooth, very tractable, and very fast.

Two years ago, Birmingham National Motorcycle Museum in the UK burnt to the ground. Numerous “works” nortons destroyed or partially destroyed. Norman White has been commissioned to restore / rebuild the 1973 John Player Norton (monoque), two Cosworth powered NVT Challengers, and a JPN Production Commando 1973 trim. top-line completely re-done 1975 850cc Commando. I purchased it last year at the Mid-America Classic Bike Auction. I'm looking for a four leading shoe brake (double backing plate) for my cafe project. I would prefer a Yamaha TD / TZ / RD. though I would consider other options. it would be a bonus if I could get a matching set of front and rear, but I realise thats unlikely. I don't need rims, but if available a twin pull compensator would be great. I'm interested in many different types of these brakes, including: Ceriani, Fontana, Oldiani, Honda Works, Grimeca, Suzuki GT750 and any others that you may have stashed away in the corner of your garage. I am having a hard time locating any of these 4ls brakes for sale second hand. I will consider any condition. 1979 R-65 in MN Description: My 1st bike - so have treated it like a princess. Determined I would keep it "forever" so dropped an R-80 engine in it so she really roars. Custom-painted tan with brown racing stripes - vintage cool. Got ahold of an original cafe/bikini faring in Germany, which you don't see often. Shorter racing bars with bar-end mirrors. Very cool looking bike. One of a kind. Then it proceeded to fall over on the tarmac on a hot day. ARGH! So, slight scratching on the faring & tank - no denting though. Finally realized I still need more power. I have put so much into this bike thinking I would keep, it's insane. Has 52,000 miles. Plug in for heat. the Borrani front rim with an Borrani rear. For the rear I am looking for a
WM2 or 3X18 or 19. Would you have any leads on such a rim? Of course it
