Dictator's Fall Colors Ride:

Annual run usually from Twin Cities to St. Cloud area   or Lake Minnetonka to catch the leaves changing. Barbeque by the lake. Somewhat spur of the moment timing to catch leaves maxing out. The Dictator may choose ,however, to "shake it up" and go anywhere he pleases.....

We go past a lot of lakes, rivers and even some pumpkin patches. It usually takes about two hours to get there, and no more than one hour to return to the cities.

The dictator occasionally will slyly convince the group to lift his pontoon up onto the beach for the winter…..

2003 will be on 10/11 see events calendar

We had a great ride thru the fall leaves along some roads which bear repeating.  Made a stop near Big Lake to   Shanghai Chuck Engval into coming along to the Dictator's for some barbeque and bench-racing.  As usual, the Dictator convinced the group to help carry something heavy from place to place (the real reason for the ride.....) This time it was a dock. Hats go off to Pixel Pete Martin who braved the chill and brought his Atlas on the ride (loosing a piston in the process.....) and Fred Case who tooled along on his trusty Commando. Stay tuned for announcement of an equally interesting early spring ride developed by Jim Weatherhead.

Announcement!  2001 ride ......Too late!

This year's ride will be on Saturday October 6th.  It will start at 10 am at the Modern Cafe on 13th and University N.E.  and wind up at the dictator's  house in south St. Cloud.  We will be taking a north-eastern route this time. Bring your appetite and any little tidbit you'd like to share.  Contact the dictator with questions.   Contact Greg at 320-255-5779 days and 320-259-4794 eve.  Try cell 320-267-6346 sat. Dictator for Life Ride October 7th Saturday 2000

Well, you missed another great ride, if I do say so myself.  Yes it was cold, but if you had the foresight to layer and wear mittons, it was great.  Gotta thank the Dictator's swell parents for the final venue.  Check out the map above, as it's a bit of road most have ignored.  We had about 15 bikes actually take the ride, and about 20 total at the BBQ.
