Dictator’s Fall Colors Ride 2000

Meet at the Day by Day Café at 463 West 7th in St. Paul for some breakfast

and be prepared with a full tank to leave at 10 am. The ride will be about

70 miles around the Twin Cities, ending up in Spring Park on Lake

Minnetonka at the Dictator’s dad’s place. Expect ride to take about 2½

hours.

Directions:

West 7th to Smith, then up the high bridge to Cherokee.

Rt. On Cherokee, circle around the block to get back to Smith.

Back to Cherokee EAST (rt) and head down hill to Ohio.

Twist down Ohio to Plato, then turn left (west) onto Water St.

Water St. becomes Lilydale rd. and ends up on old 13.

Left (west) on old 13 down into Mendota, up hill, across 55 where it

becomes Sibley Memorial Highway and ends on 13.

Rt. on 13, under 494 and on to Silver Bell rd.

Rt. on Silver Bell then rt. on Nicols rd., under 77(Cedar) and onto

Blackdog rd. for quite a ways.

Under 35W and then onto it for ½ mile to Cliff rd.

Cliff to Dupont, 126th st. west and soon 5 (then could get on 13-101)

Rt. past Super America on Williams Dr.

Williams turns into McColl (16)

McColl has roadwork, uneven pavement for about 2 miles

Follow 16 (jogs at 18) and is called Eagle Creek Blvd. To 17 which meets 101.

Follow 101 (was 13) thru Shakopee and then across river North to 212

Rt. on Bluff Creek dr. which becomes Pioneer Trail, past 41 to Bavaria rd.

Rt. on Bavaria (13) up to Highway 7, turn left (west)

Rt on 44 (Westedge) up to Bartlett blvd.

Follow Bartlett thru Mound to Wilshire, then Interlachen to 4325 Channel

road.
